Eight Arms contracts for grapes from several vineyards. The types of vineyards we like to buy grapes from are ones that are farmed using organic or sustainable practices. We look for vineyards that are owned by people who have a passion for grape growing and strive to grow the best grapes they can. Site selection is also important. We look for hillside vineyards in areas where Syrah struggles to produce the wonderful fruit we expect.
In 2006 we contracted with Stagecoach Vineyard in the Napa valley. In 2007 we added Furlong Estates Vineyard from the Alexander Valley and in 2008 St. Mark’s Vineyard in the Russian River Valley was added. To find out more about these vineyards, please click on the links below.
