Paul and Viviane Furlong’s vineyard is located at the northwest end of the Alexander Valley, just south of Cloverdale. The 3.5 acres of this steep sloped vineyard was planted in 2003. The Syrah is a mixture of 877, Estrella, and Alban PB clones. The vines, planted in well, drained rocky soil produces small, intensely flavored grapes. 

2007 was the first year we received grapes from this vineyard. With yields of only 4 tons to the acre, I was fortunate enough to receive 1.5 tons of Syrah. I was so impressed with the quality of wine produced from this site, that in 2008 we received 5 tons of fruit. This is an exceptional vineyard that produces wonderful grapes.
